Direton is a business directory built on a simple idea: when someone is looking for a plumber, a law firm, or a place to eat, they should find the real business, not a page of ads.
We list local businesses across the United States, organized by category, city and state. Every listing has its own page with the details people actually need: what the business does, where it is, when it opens, how to reach it, and what its customers have said.
Listing your business is free. You keep control of what it says, you can update it whenever something changes, and the page is built so search engines can read it properly.
We also do something most directories do not. Our presence audit looks at how your business shows up beyond this site: your Google profile, your reviews, the competitors near you, how fast your website loads, and whether assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini name you when a customer asks for a recommendation. It is the kind of check an agency would charge for, and it tells you what to fix first.
Direton is built and run by Ponemus, a technology company in Coral Gables, Florida.
